Our powder room has changed quite a bit since we purchased our home almost 5 years ago!

Trampoline Recommendation

Trampoline Recommendation
Over the summer months, we are always looking for ways to get our girls outside. They had been begging for a trampoline and we loved the idea of them getting exercise while having fun.

Cozy Bedroom Refresh

Cozy Bedroom Refresh
With the changing of seasons, do you ever feel the "itch to switch" some of your spaces? I have found the easiest way to update a bedroom on a budget is by swapping out the decor and bedding. You can shop your own home and simply move decor from one room for another for a fresh look.

Composting with Copper

Composting with Copper
Since starting our hobby farm, we have been working towards making our homestead more self sufficient. We have natural compost readily available from our farm animals, but we loved the idea of recycling food and other organic waste into compost as well.

Homemade Sugar Cookies

Homemade Sugar Cookies
This holiday weekend, I had to share our FAVORITE sugar cookie recipe with you! The dough is made with powdered sugar, which makes it super soft and a complete cookie-dough-eating-worthy-snack. In honor of 4th of July, we decided to make star shaped cookies, but you could use any design for any occasion. The recipe is so easy and our girls LOVE to help!

Trending - K Bowls
Antique English large white ironstone “K” bowls were first introduced in the mid-to-late 19th century. The white kitchenware bowl was produced at a time when white pottery was associated with food hygiene, and at least gave the allusion, that its use in the kitchen was the most hygienic way to prepare and store foods. The “K” stood for “kitchen” and thus the bowl belonged in the kitchen only. Original pieces are quite collectible and expensive...not to mention nearly impossible to find!

Baking with Copper

Baking with Copper
We've been cooking with copper for quite a while now and I wanted to share one of my recent vintage finds! Not only is copper the perfect heat conductor, it offers anti-bacterial properties, keeps the digestive system healthy, helps in weight loss and promotes healthy skin.

Farm Shed Refresh

Farm Shed Refresh
Can you believe it has been THREE YEARS since we began our hobby farm journey? We have loved every minute of growing our little farm. We started with Olde English "Babydoll" Southdown sheep and now have alpacas, ducks, chickens and a guard llama. While they all spend most of their time out in our pastures, as winter approaches, we knew it was time for a few updates to their farm shed.
