I'm so excited to share the makeover we tackled with removable wallpaper from Rocky Mountain Decals! After wallpapering our youngest daughter's room, our oldest requested we give her room a mini-makeover as well. She really wanted something horse-themed and Rocky Mountain Decals had the perfect option. Wild Horses Peel & Stick Wallpaper

Rocky Mountain Decal's peel-and-stick wallpapers are made from kid safe, food safe, splash proof, BPA/VOC free wall fabric, and Greenguard certified latex ink.

Peel-and-stick wallpapers are also made with an adhesive backing so the removable wallpaper can be applied (and removed) with ease. Prior to installing the Wild Horses wallpaper, I actually removed a brick pattern peel-and-stick option on the opposite side of the room that we had installed 5 years ago. I was shocked at how easily it came off and how it did not damage our walls! The paint looks as good as new!

Before installing the new wallpaper, we decluttered the room and prepped the wall. To install peel-and-stick wallpaper, very few tools were required. I used the following:

  • Decal applicator tool (included with our wallpaper order)
  • Utility knife
  • Level
  • Ladder

The Wild Horses wallpaper came in 6 long strips and I simply removed the paper backing and applied the self-adhesive wallpaper. Following the instructions, I started on the left and worked my way from top to bottom.

Overall, this was a super easy and quick DIY project. I love the coziness it added to our daughter's room! Here's the before and after.
