February is such a special month - it's my birthday, anniversary and Valentine's Day! We are also celebrating one year of being homeowners - and what an amazing 12 months it has been. If you've been following along, you know we've spent the last year renovating the interior of our 1970's Bedford stone home. Our dining room is now one of my favorite spaces and I couldn't wait to add some simple Valentine's Day decor.
Last Fall, I shared about creating a decor capsule here. To create my Valentine's Day tablescape, I used items I already had - no new purchases! I started with this light tablecloth I made last year from my friend Jamie's book French Vintage Decor. I love how it can transition from season to season.
Next, I added my thrifted gold chargers, vintage limoges china, and brass candlesticks - all part of my decor capsule!
I incorporated some wooden hearts I purchased several years ago to add a Valentine's Day touch. The centerpiece was from Farmgirl Flowers - a gift I received from Grove Collaborative last week.
I rearranged it a bit and used a French vintage confit pot from Sweet Olive Revival.
I hope this gives you a few ides to incorporate decor you already have for Valentine's Day. Tell me, would you like to see how we incorporate Valentine's Day into our girls' playroom?
As always, thanks for stopping by the blog!!
Xx,
Amy
