Spring Tablescape

Our Easter will look different this year since we are still under a "Shelter in Place" due to COVID-19, but that doesn't mean we won't be celebrating.  To us, Easter represents the freedom we have in living a victorious life connected to God. Because of His grace, our sins are forgiven, and we have the privilege of receiving abundant joy for all the days to come.

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.   - John 11:25-26

I wanted to keep our tablescape simple for Easter this year (especially since we've been limiting our trips to the store), so I decided to bring the outdoors in.

This cherry tree on our property has the prettiest white blooms. I trimmed off a few stems before a storm earlier in the week and brought them inside.
I quickly put the stems in my vintage French confit pot filled with fresh water. Honestly, I've been surprised how well these stems have lasted. It's been a few days now and they still look as fresh as the day I brought them inside. I love how they make such a statement for this tablescape.
When decorating for spring, consider using a tablecloth and layering with a runner.  Using organic materials like linen will give your table an extra bit of elegance. As shown above, I used a natural linen tablecloth and added a white linen runner. For a softer look, consider adding bleached cheesecloth.

The copper chargers from Coppermill Kitchen complement any tablescpae and I never take them off our table :) White stoneware plates are part of the Natural Canvas collection by Denby USA. To tie in the white cherry blossom arrangement, I twisted my natural linen napkins and added a small stem to each place setting.

I love the simple elegance of this table and you certainly can't beat a free arrangement. Bringing the outdoors in is something I try to do year round! You'll have an instantly unique look that fits your style!

I hope you found this simple spring tablescape idea helpful! I can't wait to see what inspires you to decorate this year as we celebrate our Risen Savior.

As always, thank you for following along!

Soyuz beni (Be blessed),

Amy
