French Inspired Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Mother's Day is just around the corner and I have so many gift ideas to share with you! Now more than ever, I believe we need to support makers and small business owners. Don't get me wrong, I love Amazon Prime, but when it comes to gifts I want to share something unique, handmade and most importantly - know I am supporting a small business.

The products I am sharing are ones I truly love (and use on a regular basis). Thanks to social media, I now call many of the business owners that offer these amazing products my friends!

2020 Gift Guide

Copper Goods

Y'all know I LOVE copper. One of my favorite shops for pure copper cookware, pitchers, bowls, and more is Sertodo Copper! They are offering a Mother's Day Sale of 30% off (which is HUGE) with code: "CopperMom30." Their copper is handcrafted and is heavy gauge, highest quality for those who love to cook.

Did you know that copper actually helps kill the Coronavirus?? The article written by Sertodo's owner, Jonathan Beall, is a must read!

Handcrafted Spoons

Do you follow @poldersowm on Instagram? Goodness, their products are beautiful! It is hard to pick a favorite, but I love their handmade everyday spoon as shown above. Here's a bit of their story:

"Each piece of dreamware we make is hand carved by our family, right on our farm in Virginia. We make our utensils out of fallen hardwoods we salvage from the forest floor. Recently we've been curating a small selection of complementary handmade and vintage items that pair well with our dreamware. Everything we offer is either made in the USA or vintage." - Polder's Old World Kitchen

I love hearing the heart behind a business - what an amazing family to support!  Be sure to subscribe to their newsletter to receive 25% off their store!

Confit Pot

Did you know I collect confit pots? My talented friend Wyatt from Living Soul Pottery just launched a new line of French-inspired confit pots that I know you will LOVE. Vintage confit pots are hard to find and can be quite expensive to import. I love that Wyatt has been able to recreate such beautiful, collectable stoneware pieces. Here are a few of my favorites!

All his pieces are handmade in the USA and he is offering 25% off for Mother's Day until May 10. Don't delay as these are one of a kind and won't last long!

_____

Bird Feeder

A copper bird feeder? Yes please!! I just received my Palazzo bird feeder in the mail from Good Directions and the quality is amazing. If you are looking for a practical gift for the special mother in your life, this is a great gift that will last for years to come! With COVID-19, we are enjoying all the extra outdoor time and watching birds is a new favorite pastime.

One of my favorite things about this amazing business is their story and top notch customer service team! They offer an unmatched array of quality home and garden decor including accents and embellishments for the yard, garden and patio.

Custom Art

Do you have a favorite family photo or ever considered making a portrait of your pet? Olivia from Barn Wood Designed is incredibility talented. I love how she captured our babydoll sheep above :) Last year, she made a watercolor of our new home and it is such a special art piece. She is also running a Mother's Day sale so it is a perfect time to order custom artwork for yourself or someone else!

_____

French Soap

Last, but certainly not least, my FAVORITE French soap from Pre de Provence. I share this with every gift guide because #1 - I use it everyday and #2 - It is a budget friendly gift idea. This soap lasts forever and it is a product I stand behind 100%. I've been using French soap for nearly 5 years and this is the best.

I hope this gives you some unique gift ideas for the special Mother's in your life this year. If gifting just isn't in the budget, I would still recommend following along with these small businesses on Instagram! They all run specials periodically and you'll enjoy following along.

As always, thanks for checking out the blog!

Xx,

Amy
