Falling for Fall

"Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall." - F. Scott Fitzgerald

Anyone else feeling all the fall vibes? Harvest is in full swing, the days are getting shorter and last night it was in the 40s! I think it’s safe to say autumn is here and we are loving every minute of it!

This year more than ever, I have been drawn to traditional fall decor with warm autumn colors. I’ve kept it simple though and added a few pops of color here and there.

For our den, I created this natural vignette using faux florals from Urban Farmhouse Market. They have the prettiest fall stems. I combined their Autumn Aster Spray and the Dahlia Bush for this look. The vintage jug, found in Lyon (from Elsie Green), ended up being a perfect vessel to twist and arrange the stems.

Combining old with new is one of my favorite ways to decorate. I completed the look by Aadding our French vintage books and a $3 pumpkin from Target.

With young girls, I wanted to keep our seasonal decor to a minimum. The only other addition to this space was the cozy mustard-color blanket. We spend a lot of mornings snuggling on the couch before they get busy with school ☺️

You may have seen where we recently gave this space a makeover. It’s functional now and much more inviting. The minimal approach with our fall decor was the perfect blend of cozy without being too overwhelming.

I hope this gives you a few ideas for your own spaces! Transitioning into the new season doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive, try adding a few florals whether they are fresh, dried or faux. Let the design lead you from there!

As always, thanks for following along!

Happy Autumn!
