Happy Monday friends! Our breezeway renovation is still in process, but I couldn't wait to share a progress update.
The interior of our main home has been fully renovated and we hadn't planned work on this space, but I pulled up the carpet and one thing led to another.
Truth be told, this room had a bit of a smell to it I couldn't get rid of and removing the carpet did the trick! I painted the walls intense white by Benjamin Moore (same as 80% of our interior) and all the trim simply white. I love how paint can transform a space.
A few weeks ago we had some location professionals, Segler Concrete Service, do a floor grind and remove the glue from the carpet in our breezeway. They were amazing!
Revealing the concrete made the room so much lighter and brighter!
I couldn't wait to re-style this space. Staying true to my love of all things French, I brought in some market baskets and kept the decor neutral with pops of gray.
Coming soon, new fans from Fanimation and beadboard ceiling.
What do you think of this fan? It's the Hugh model offered by Fanimation. I love that it is a hugger option and has LED for optimal light output.
Stay tuned for a few more changes to come. As always, thanks for following along on our renovation journey.
Xx,
Amy
